Artist Statement:
I have been admiring this beautiful vintage stovetop kettle for some time now. When I recently stumbled upon an image of it reflecting its sunny surroundings, I was inspired to capture it in pencil. I find it fascinating to document objects frozen in time, it highlights how well it has been made and cared for since the 80’s. A beautiful object immortalised.
