Artist Statement:

Inspired by salvaged door cut-offs from a local window maker, Natalie’s The Doors invites a shift in perspective. Through abstract form, cropped compositions and unexpected colour pairings, her work expands the way we see and feel the world. Echoing William Blake’s words, “If the doors of perception were cleansed, man would see things as they truly are- infinite”. The work also pays homage to Jim Morrison's choice to name his band The Doors, further exploring the nature of vision and perception.
